Men, including your sons, must be taught that they’re in charge of their sexual reproductive rights and that this ethical responsibility should never be relinquished to their sexual partners. Men are responsible for protecting themselves against unwanted, unplanned, and out-of-wedlock pregnancies. And why? It’s their body and their choice. Men’s lackadaisical approach to their reproductive rights contributes to millions of abortions, children being abandoned in foster care systems, single motherhood, poverty, and the prison industrial complex. Should I go on?  Being a leader and provider doesn’t mean paying a woman’s bills; it means being in charge of your actions and what benefits you can contribute to the betterment of society.
